With effect from Tuesday, 31 August 2021 Swindon Library & Information Service is able to continue its phased recovery and reintroduce a wider range of access and services for Swindon residents.

More opening hours are being restored during September, as well as Sunday opening at North Swindon Library.

We hope that Saturday opening will be back at all the libraries from October, along with extending Central Library’s opening hours to 4pm on a Saturday. We’re currently recruiting staff to enable us to return to full staffed opening hours.

We’re asking library visitors to continue observing the COVID-19 measures in place, including wearing masks or face coverings, use of hand sanitiser, and social distancing.
