From today (5 July) there will be some changes to our services:

Our opening hours are increasing, and our self-service machines will be available for customers to return books, as well as to issue their own reservations and Quick Choice selection. Your library card will be needed to use the machines.

There will also be additional services at Central Library as The Library Shop will once again be open, Barnes bookings will be taken, and a job club session will be available.

Our Click, Call & Collect service was created at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic and was hugely popular throughout lockdown. While the service is still available, we are finding that as access to our libraries increases, the need for Click, Call & Collect is reducing and therefore the service will be phased out over summer.

Any changes affecting the library service will be announced on the Swindon Borough Council website and the Library blog. Updates are also available through our social media pages: Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
