The Community Policing team have confirmed that they are actively targeting the village to identify subjects responsible for the recent burglaries. The resource is intended to be available at the times the burglaries took place. PC Draper has requested we share this message as much as possible to raise awareness. He also re-iterated that anyone walking around recently with an orange chainsaw would be of interest to the police.
Please please call 101 or 999 if there is any suspicious activity or a crime in progress. Many of these burglaries are as a result of the perpetrators looking for insecurities of the property, out buildings and access to the property.
Keep everything locked and out of sight where possible. This applies to garden gates, sheds and garages too. Many thanks
