A press release has been issued which states that J15 will be upgraded as part of SBC’s drive to improve key highway interchanges. Jointly funded by Highways England and developers contributions (Persimmon and Redrow)
The work is to include:
Widening of the southbound carriageway of the A419 to the M4 eastbound.
Dedicated left turn slip road from the A419 to the M4 eastbound
All slip roads from the M4 to J15 will be widened as will the A346 to the junction from Marlborough
The planned dates for this work is between 2018 and 2020. J16 work will need to be substantially completed first.
