Bishopstone Parish Council are looking for a Clerk and Responsible Financial Officer to replace their existing clerk who has served the Parish for the past 21 years.

The council wishes to appoint an energetic and self-motivated individual to manage its business and to carry out all aspects of its financial administration. The ideal candidate will have good organisational, numeracy and computer skills, be a good communicator and have the ability to work independently.

The role is part-time up to 35 hours per month including holidays.

There is some flexibility in the management of the hours and additional hours may be necessary to manage the administration during busy times. These will be paid at the normal hourly rate.

The successful candidate will need their own computer and connection to the internet. The Council does not have an office so the Clerk will be expected to work from home and provide some document storage.

To commence on 1st April 2020 with an overlap with the present Clerk.
