Due to driver shortages as a result of sickness and leave, there’s currently some disruption to waste and recycling collections, which we apologise for. Our website continues to be updated daily with details of missed collections and advice on what to do if your collections have been affected.
Thank you for bearing with us while we catch up on collections – if yours hasn’t been collected, please leave it out and the crews will be back to collect it as soon as possible. You can also check our website to see if we’re aware of the collection being missed. If it’s not on the list, please report it to us via the form on our website to let the team know.
To help reduce the chance of issues like this happening in future, new drivers are being recruited and we’re also looking at making the driver/loader roles more flexible to help us be able to respond to incidents of driver shortages in future.
