Our crews are continuing their hard work to catch-up on the backlog of waste and recycling collections following the Christmas period.
The current schedule suggests that we’re approx. 10,000 collections behind across the Borough, from a position of over 40,000 collections behind, with the service expected to return to normal through next week.
We appreciate this is frustrating for the residents who’re still waiting for their waste to be collected.We ask residents to leave waste out and we’ll collect it as soon as possible.
Additional weighted bags can no longer be collected from core libraries, but now need to be ordered through the website.
Extra recycling can be placed loose in a sturdy container, or as per our website.
