STEAM event – Meet the Railway Workers takes place fortnightly on Saturdays. (from 29th October to 10th December)
Our Meet the Railway Workers volunteers will welcome you aboard the famous No. 4073 Caerphilly Castle and now also No. 6000 King George V!

Find out what it was like to be a GWR engine driver, fireman, labourer or an office worker at GWR’s Swindon Works.
There’s also the chance to have a chat with our volunteers about the many hands-on exhibits and other magnificent locomotives we have on display.
Whatever your age, our friendly team will add to the STEAM experience as you tour the Museum.
This wonderful experience is free with standard admission and to STEAM Season Ticket holders.
