SSE Priority Services Register
SSE maintain the local electricity network, in the event of a power cut they have a priority service for people in extra need of continuous power – the disabled, those with a chronic illness or using home medical care such as dialysis, those with special communication needs – blind partially sighted, hard of hearing etc, those with a young baby and those on a state pension.
This service is completely free of charge and isn’t dependent on your electricity supplier.
