  • Military/emergency service experience to organise others.

  • Able to collect prescriptions in bad weather
  • Ability to shovel show from pavements and driveways or spread grit from grit bins
  • Ability to provide a bed for the night to someone with no heat or power
  • Ability to provide a hot meal if required.

20mph zones and dropped kerbs/safer crossing UPDATE

Our questionnaire has been approved and sent to the printers. We hope to get them delivered across the relevant parish areas shortly.  The same survey will be on Survey Monkey for those wishing to do it on-line.

The Parish Council has submitted a list of phase 1 requests for dropped kerbs and safer crossings to SBC along with proposed 20mph zones. We now need to work on gathering public support for the 20mph zones.  We will be creating an online questionnaire and creating promotional material to gain feedback to help support this.  Watch this space…..

A reminder that the Parish has 4 defibrillators – one outside Cameo Hairdressers on High Street, one outside the Pavilion on the Recreation Field, one outside the Calley Memorial Hall on Draycott Road and one in the BT Box in Badbury.  All units are accessed by calling 999 to gain the code for the box. There is also a defibrillator on the outside wall of the school in Ogbourne St George.
