The local Police have asked us to remind residents to continue to be vigilant with regards to securing the properties and vehicles against thefts, break-ins and burglaries.
Please make sure you don’t leave vehicle keys in view of your front door or windows and make sure all entry points to your homes are secure.
Please also never leave bags, briefcases or other items of value visible in vehicles. This is both at home or when parked in a public area.
We have also been warned of cold callers, using the pretence of selling goods or services, to distract home owners with the intention to rob the house. The police have advised to please call 999 immediately if this happens to you.
