The Chiseldon Parish Council are seeking quotes for the following work:
- To refurbish/repair the wooden structure at the top of the Chapel roof on Butts Road (see photos)
- To supply and erect scaffolding to allow safe access to the structure.
- To replace any wooden parts that cannot be fixed/restored.
- To sand back and re-paint in a suitable external paint the remaining wooden structure. To include costs of paint in the quote.
- Re-paint the weathervane
- To repair if required the roof section of the wooden structure.
- Visually check and report back on the overall condition of the roof for the Chapel and museum.
- To provide details of suitable insurance to cover you for this work.
- To ensure all staff are correctly trained to work at height.
- Dispose of all waste materials appropriately.
- Leave the site clean and tidy on completion.
Deadline for quotes 13th May.
