It captures many of the activities and achievements of what was, another very significant year for the North Wessex Downs and the country’s other protected landscapes, as work continued to conserve and enhance the natural beauty of these designated landscapes for the benefit of those living, working or visiting.
We can only hope to tackle the continuing challenges to the beauty, heritage and biodiversity of the North Wessex Downs landscape through collaboration. Development pressures are relentless, and the impacts of climate change and environmental damage are becoming ever more acute. We are grateful to our funding partners, volunteers and like-minded organisations for their continued support
As lockdown restrictions eased we saw a huge increase in traffic to our website, demonstrating just how important this landscape is for public health and wellbeing. More Information about our work can be found there at www.northwessexdowns.org.uk
