Each year a team of volunteers organise a charity bicycle ride on the ridgeway, The White Horse Trail, Barbury Castle, Smeeth’s Ridge, Hackpen and the old railway path as a fund raiser for Macmillan Cancer Support.
The event normally takes place the first week in June. However on that date this year, everyone will be busy with the Queen’s Jubilee so our event will be on Sunday 3rd July from 1015 to about 14:30.
Below is a map which shows the areas around the parish that the event will be using. Though this is dated 2020, the event will be over the same course.
