Once again the Swindon Macmillan Fundraising committee is looking forward to running this major fundraising event at the beginning of June.
The event will be held on Sunday 2nd June and will involve approximately 250 to 300 cyclists using The Ridgeway between Chisledon and Avebury, parts of the White horse Trail, The Railway path between Ogbourne St Andrew, Ogbourne St George and Chisledon, and a section of Track and Bridle way to the east of the Main Swindon-Marlborough road as shown on the attached Map
The event starts in Swindon at 10 am and most riders will be on the course shown on the map attached, although a few will take one of two shorter courses available this will involve the area around Barbury Castle.
It is expected that most riders will be clear of the route by 13.30 though a few slower riders may take a little longer
We will erect event notification sign at some strategic points along the route to advise dog walkers and horse riders of the date of the event.
