If you’re looking for something for fun and active for children to do over the Easter holidays, we are running some free skateboarding and scooter sessions over the next two weeks.
Each session will include fun games, the chance to win prizes and plenty of healthy snacks for children to enjoy. The events are funded by the Holiday Activities and Food programme, but any child from across Swindon is welcome to join. If your child has a scooter or a skateboard, then bring it along, but if not there will be some available to borrow on the day.
The below sessions will be held from 10am to 1pm at:
- Morrison’s Skate Park, Haydon Wick – 13 and 20 April
- The Fields Skate Park, Covingham – 14 and 21 April
- Walcot Skate Park, Buckhurst – 15 and 22 April
A session will also be held from 2pm to 5pm at Rivermead Skatepark, on 14 and 21 April.
