The Arts Society, Pewsey Vale, have provided the following information:

Monthly lectures, held in the Bouverie Hall, Pewsey SN9 5QE, cover a wide range of subjects relevant to the wonderful world of The Arts.
The hall is open from 7 pm with lectures beginning at 7:30 pm for approximately one hour.
Coffee/tea and wine is served from 7 pm.​

Monday 9 October 2017: Pickled for Posterity: British Art and the Second World War

This lecture, by Monica Bohm-Duchen, addresses the wartime activities of émigré artists from Nazi-occupied Europe who sought refuge in Britain in the late 1930’s and the work of British POW’s such as Ronald Searle, who produced some extraordinary images in captivity, and the British artists present at the liberation of the concentration camps.
