5 year Plan Consultation Groups

With this in mind we are hoping to set up consultation groups, made up of all demographics of residents from all areas of the Parish. More information to follow on how you can get involved to shape the Parish for the future.

Security in hot weather

The police and neighbourhood watch remind us all to keep windows and doors closed when not around during this hot weather. Opportunist burglars will be looking for easy access to homes and vehicles.

Castle View Play Area

A new bench has been ordered for the play area and the Council hope to approve a new see saw in the August meeting. Further plans will hopefully then be made for 2019.

Fund Raising

We have some lovely residents fund raising for new metal goals for the Castle View play area so that older children can come out and play football, and also fund raising for ongoing repairs/improvements to the play area. Our thanks to everyone involved in these plans. Please let us know if you can help and we will put you in touch.

Summer Holiday rock painting session

The rock painting ans story time session at Strouds Hill on Wednesday 8th August was a great success. We had a good turn out and the cloudy day was helpful so no-one overheated. Thank you to the resident who also loaned us her outside games such as Jenga.

Many rocks were painted so keep an eye out for them on your travels; let’s see how far we can get them.
