After a discussion the following was agreed for tender:

Weed killing all road edges and pavements once a year.

Road sweeping using mini digger then machine, plus waste removal twice a year

All sign washing once a year.

Cleaning of Castle View Road garages area once a year

All pavement sweeping once a year

A proposal was made to approve these items for the tender document. The proposal was seconded and all Cllrs were in favour.

The Clerk will prepare the tender document and publish it. The tenders will be reviewed and voted on at the July EGPA meeting, with the work starting immediately.

25/29. To approve the purchase of a plaque for the oak tree sapling commemorating VE day 80.

A proposal was made to purchase the plaque costing £55.00 plus VAT from Timpsons. The proposal was seconded and all Cllrs were in favour.

The Clerk will buy the plaque when the tree is planted in the autumn.

25/30. Building and amenity priorities. Football Club report. The emailed report was circulated to all committee members. No issues

25/33. Chapel, Museum and graveyards.  To discuss the budget for the eventual replacement/refurbishment of the chapel and museum windows. Move to July agenda as no quotes obtained yet.

25/34. Chapel, Museum and graveyards. Tree crowning and tree removal.
2 trees require attention at Butts Road. 1 the tree inspector advises to remove and 1 has been requested to be crowned by the resident next to the graveyard.

A proposal was made for the Clerk to get quotes for both items of work.  The proposal was seconded and all Cllrs were in favour.

25/35. Annual approval of Chiseldon Football Club lease.

A proposal was made to approve the lease with no change. The proposal was seconded and all Cllrs were in favour.

The club did not propose any changes to the lease.

A proposal was made to approve the shed placement on plot 7A. The proposal was seconded and all Cllrs were in favour.
