23/61. PLANNING.  Discussion and vote on S/HOU/23/0988. 25 Station Road. Single storey front extension.

A proposal was made to vote “no objection” to these plans. The proposal was seconded and all Cllrs were in favour.

23/62. PLANNING. Discussion & vote on any planning applications received from Swindon Borough Council after the agenda is published.   None

23/63. Neighbourhood Plan.   Cllr Kearsey reporting.

Grant funds for 23/24 have been received. Paying Wiltshire Wildlife trust and last 2 invoices from our Consultant had to come from the council’s NHP allocated funds.

The Clerk is to ask our Ward Cllrs to chase up SBC’s informal response to our draft plan after the meeting June 23 with Molly Gallagher.

Cllrs Kearsey, Rawlings, Ford and Jefferies met with the Burderop Estate with regards to the NHP and areas of their land within the Green Open Spaces list.  Query over the horse paddock off Butts Road this is private land with no access so want it removed from the listing. and the area off Home Close that surround the estate. The Clerk is to update our NHP Consultant with regards to this for feedback on how to proceed.

23/64. Rec ground hall and grounds improvement update.

Cllrs Kearsey, Jefferies, Ford and Rawlings met with the Burderop Estate with regards to the required land to move the project forward.

Cllrs felt the meeting was disappointing due to the previous high levels of interested and cooperation at the Feb 23 meeting with Will, Arthur and Charlie.

The Council are keen to keep dialogue open with regards to how we can still move forward with this project and the Clerk will be asking for detailed feedback of where we can move on from here.  The Feb 23 meeting minutes will be provided for information.

The Clerk will also look for the deeds for the current Rec ground which were gifted by Miss Calley many years ago to the PC.

23/65. HIGHWAYS.   Discussion and vote on how to proceed with the 20mph questionnaire.

The questionnaire was whittled down to 8 questions, keeping them as clear and simple as possible. The Clerk will work on the final draft with Cllrs input via email.  The Finance Committee have approved the £150 for printing costs.

23/66. TRANSPORT. No items

The Clerk was asked to invite SBC Highways Officers to a meeting to provide a full outline of the works and schedule for New Road and Hodson Road re-building.  This is to include any weight restrictions being put in place.

Cllrs to confirm a list of required questions before the letter is sent.

23/67. Items for consideration on 23/24 budget for planning/transport and highways works.

The Clerk will advise SBC of the M4 J15 roundabout road sign that is covered in foliage. The path leading to J15 needing the undergrowth cutting back.
