Swindon Museum and Art Gallery’s Art on Tour project will use trees to hang examples of its renowned collection in an effort to share art with more people in more places.
Throughout October people will be encouraged to follow an exciting trail which will challenge park visitors to find 10 artworks which will be displayed on vibrant banners.

The ‘Art on Trees’ trail will take place on the following dates:

  • Town Gardens, 6 – 11 October
  • Coate Water, 13 – 18 October
  • Stanton Park, 20 – 25 October
  • Lydiard Park, 27 October – 1 November

‘Art on Trees’ is free for anyone to take part in and is the perfect activity for families with children or for people who may just be out walking their dog.

Families can download exciting resources to help guide them around the trail and get creative with nature. Adults can access online information about the artworks on the trail by scanning a QR Code on the banners or by visiting: www.swindonmuseumandartgallery.org.uk/artontour
