Works on junction 16 continue to make good progress, with the majority of work on site being drainage, earthworks and utility diversions. The works may start to impact your journey as work increases on the southern half of the roundabout. On Monday, 10 July, there was a one night closure (8pm to 6am) of the B4005 Hay Lane from Spittleborough Roundabout to the Junction with Wharf Road. This was to enable the contractor to complete the widening of Hay Lane. There was a diversion in place, but access was maintained for residents and businesses in the closed section.

We also remind you that from late August there will be a temporary restriction in place that will block right turns into and out of Lydiard Fields to enable the contractor to undertake works on Great Western Way. We expect this work to take approximately three months, but will keep you updated on progress. Access to Lydiard Fields will be maintained at all times. Details of the diversion arrangements will be available on the website in due course.
