The majority of the works are still focused on earthworks, drainage and surfacing. The night closures of the M4 Westbound exit slip roads did not go ahead this week as planned, alternative closure dates of Monday 21 August, Tuesday 22 August and Wednesday 23 August 2017 from 8pm until 6am have been given to carry out surfacing works.
Hay Lane will be closed by Junction 16 from 8pm Tuesday, 22 August until 6am Wednesday, 23 August in order to carry out essential work on the road.
The Lydiard Field no right turn will be in place from Monday, 4 September, all businesses remain open.
